Wash and seed the tomatoes.
Chop the tomato flesh into a 1/2 inch dice.
In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, oil, salt and pepper.
Prepare your bruschetta bread, as described in the “Bruschetta classica“.
Spoon the tomato mixture atop the warm bread and serve with a healthy amount of the shredded basil on top.
Drizzle with the remaining liquid of the tomato marinade.
